Scope & pricing
Every project is scoped after we see your drawings. We don't post per-sheet rates because complexity, software, and submittal level vary too widely to be useful. Send your project and you'll receive a scoped estimate from the Millmetric team within 24–48 business hours.
A radius reception desk and a flat storage cabinet can both be "one sheet" and take wildly different effort. Fixed per-sheet pricing either overcharges simple work or underdraws complex work. We quote the actual job, upfront, so you approve a real number before we start.
Yes. The Drafting Partner retainer reserves senior-drafter hours every month with predictable turnaround and a priority queue — ideal for shops with a steady pipeline or a heavy bid season.
Turnaround & process
3–5 business days standard for a scoped drafting set after kickoff. Larger or specialty work is scoped individually, and retainer clients get a priority queue. Revisions during review come back in 1–2 business days.
You review the initial set and return a marked-up PDF. We incorporate the redlines, verify shop-level fabrication standards, and turn revisions in 1–2 business days. The set is locked only after your sign-off.
Your architectural drawings and specs, plus any shop standards you want us to follow. We review all RFIs and clarify open questions before drafting begins, so nothing gets drawn twice.
Software & files
Microvellum and Cabinet Vision native, plus AutoCAD and BricsCAD for plan and elevation work. We post G-code to your specific CNC controller — Biesse, SCM, Holzma, AXYZ, and others.
The full production stack: AWI-compliant PDF submittal set, native Microvellum or Cabinet Vision files, G-code, nesting reports, BOMs, cut lists, hardware schedules, and bar-coded assembly sheets. Everything posts at once.
Yes. We configure construction methods, material and edgebanding mapping, and hardware to your shop's library so the parts come off the machine the way you build them.
Quality & confidentiality
Yes. Every set meets AWI Quality Standards for Division 06 and Division 12 submittals — Economy, Custom, or Premium grade as the project requires — with joinery, veneer match, and tolerance called out by sheet and senior-reviewed before it leaves.
You do. NDA on file, US-based servers, and we never share, reuse, or reference your drawings without permission. Your client relationships stay entirely yours.
